Nationally Board Registered Interventionist and Addiction Specialist working in the chemical dependency field supporting clients and families wounded by addiction and its associated mental health disorders. Patricia has conducted hundreds of Interventions with a 92% success rate both in the U.S. and Canada. Ms. Pike is a currently a professional member of the California Consortium of Addiction Programs & Professionals that holds an accredited Masters Certification in Addiction Studies internationally.
Ms. Pike is a highly trained expert drawing from her skills with over 24 years of professional experience. Her education background includes; Licensed Advanced Alcohol Drug Counselor (LAADAC), Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC II), long standing member of the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation, Internationally Certified Alcohol & Drug Counsellor through the ICRC (I.C.A.D.C) and Board-Certified Intervention Professional (CIP/PCB) through the Pennsylvania Certification Board.

Ms. Pike is the founder of http://www.canaminterventions.com and http://www.interventionscanada.com facilitating traditional and family systemic professional interventions, case management, addiction assessments, treatment referrals and working closely with other professionals to meet the needs of her client’s. Patricia holds citizenship both in the U.S. and Canada which gives her a diverse perspective of working in both countries. She has worked with highly qualified professionals in the addiction and mental health field using best practice approaches both on intervention cases and private practice.
Ms. Pike’s best practice approaches includes; family interventions, complex mental health interventions, attachment interventions, love addiction interventions, codependency and relational interventions, addiction interventions, alcohol interventions, and behavioral interventions. Using various therapeutic models such as; the family systemic intervention approach, surprise interventions approach, the solution-focused therapy model, narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, the disease model, attachment theory, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and the model of change approaches.
Ms. Pike is an Intervention Educator that developed an Intervention skills & training manual offering training seminars internationally to other professionals both in Canada and the U.S. Her belief in the process of interventions for families and organizations is to strengthen and educating other professionals in the areas of professional interventions and case management to better serve their clients.
1991 – 2016 includes; addiction & mental health program management and program development, adult intervention educator, inpatient and outpatient treatment, community based treatment milieus both in Canada and the U.S.
Patricia believes strongly in fairness, equality and is passionate about helping clients and their families get back on track to live authentic lives of purpose and dignity. One of the greatest gifts that she has being given is to reach the untreated persons that suffers with addiction and mental health issues. Patricia draws form her own life experiences which helps the addictive person to feel a common connection which supports the addictive person to advocate for both the family and their loved one.
She has worked with many persons from all walks of life that has given her much experience that includes; diverse cultures and first nation populations, music and entertainment industry, business and professionals, adolescents, older adults by using unique and alternative approaches.
